As a manager, you’ll never have to fret about attendance gaps in your schedule due to employees dropping their shifts.

Hello Scheduling is an easy to use work schedule program. One of our most popular features, and something both managers and employees love, is the ability for employees to enter their availability.

In Hello Scheduling, employees can enter their time off and unavailability. This helps in a number of ways:

Managers won’t accidentally schedule an employee when they have time off. Also, inputting your employees unavailability will tell our autoscheduler when not to schedule them.

Employees are more satisfied with their jobs, because they have some “say” in the schedule.

Managers have an excellent record keeping system of timeoff, in case the department of labor does an audit of their business.

Manager have final say when an employee requests timeoff or unavailbility. As the manager, you can always deny an employee’s availability request.

With our work schedule program, you can throw away your employee availability forms and templates. We provide a system that combines employee availability, staff hour tracking, and scheduling in one.

Hello Schedule make it easy for your employees to request unavailability

Being a grocery store manager is tough. There are so many different departments, and scheduling all of them can be nightmare. It takes a lot to keep your retail store workers in the right shifts at the right time.

With Hello Scheduling you’ll be able to create different schedules for your different departments. For example, you can create separate schedules for the deli, registers, stock shifts, and more.

How We Make Being a Grocery Store Manager Easier

With our autoscheduling capability, you can create schedules for your employees with just a few clicks. Our autoscheduler will ensure that your employees are never scheduled when they have time off, their hours won’t bleed into overtime, and you’ll always have the right skill on the shift (you’ll never schedule the butcher to work the registers again!).

With Hello Scheduling, all of your staff members receive a log in. They can view their schedule online from any computer, mobile phone, or tablet with an internet connection. Furthermore, you can text message employees about their shifts right from Hello Scheduling.

Retail grocery stores operate on razor thin margins. With Hello Scheduling, you’ll be able to easily keep tabs on your labor budget. Our attendance system easily tracks when someone actually works, as well as their labor cost. Doing the payroll for your supermarket workers just got much easier.

Being a food store manager is tough. Use Hello Scheduling to create your grocery store schedule.

Whether you already own, or are considering opening a frozen yogurt shop, scheduling your employees is an important part of managing your yogurt shop.

While your store might not require many shifts, one or two employees serving the yogurt and a shift for managing the register, scheduling your yogurt shop can become difficult when you have a large staff to work these shifts.

Many yogurt shops, especially those in college towns, utilize student labor. Students are notoriously difficult to schedule, because of classes. Taking all of their unavailability into account when creating the work schedule can be a very difficult task. Hello Scheduling makes it very easy to take into account your employees time off.

Labor laws and employee breaks are also something you’ll need to consider when creating the staff schedule. With Hello Scheduling, we automatically calculate your employees’ breaks using our advanced algorithms.

Finally, with Hello Scheduling, you’ll be able to keep your staff up-to-date. You can easily publish the schedule online for all of your employees to view and you can text message employees if there are shift changes.

So get started scheduling your frozen yogurt shop now!

Over the last month we’ve added a number of features to make creating work schedule printouts even easier. Hello Scheduling allows you the option of printing out either a calendar — like the one your see on the screen — or a list of all of your shifts. Interested in creating simple to read employee schedule printouts?

Printing a Work Schedule Calendar

To print a schedule that looks like a calendar, switch to either the week or month calendar, and then simply click the print icon. Hello Scheduling will create a PDF of exactly what you see on the screen.

Click the print icon to create a printout of your employee schedule

By filtering your employee schedule, you can create many different types of printouts (such as specific printouts for each employee).

Print a Simple List of Scheduled Shifts

What’s great about printing a list of your shifts, is you get a lot more options. Printing a list allows you to:

Select the employee schedule dates you want to print

Change the font size. You can really create a printout with almost poster font size

You can include shift tags

And if you want to make it easy for you to keep written notes, you can choose to print each day on a separate page.

Print a list of all of your schedule shifts
